Systems Administration handles the administration of approximately 170 servers, comprised of AIX, SUN, SuSE, SLES, RedHat and Windows 2003, in addition, the team also handles administration of SAN, Shark and TSM data backup services. Job description: The successful applicant’s main job function will be to provide administration and support for UNIX based systems. These duties will include configuration, upgrades, backup, monitoring and maintenance of the systems in both development and production environments. Required skills: You will have extensive knowledge and broad experience with UNIX based systems. Oracle experience is beneficial. You will work with a team of specialists in a wide ranging service provider systems environment. You will have the ability to work professionally and methodically, both with the team and independently.
