Namestiš da ti se pri konektovanju na net startuje eksterni program (nezavisan od MTA), recimo fetchmail, koji kupi poštu sa POP naloga i smešta ih u lokalnu "sandučad".

easy configuration, daemon mode, forwarding via SMTP or local MDA, and
superior reply handling. It is used to handle intermittent email connections

U slucaju qmail-a preporucujem getmail zato sto podrzava direktno skladistenje poruka u maildir.

Koja je razlika? Fetchmail radi s qmailom, a getmail ne treba qmaile i sendmaile.

Pa razlog je da bi ti pitao!!!

elem ... kao sto rekoh getmail ima po meni mnogo lepsi konf ... lakse specifikujes gde ce mail da ide (ne mora ni korisnik da postoji) i radi direktno sa maildir-om (ne drka smtp).
