| Ako se neko nadje u Kopenhagenu 4. novembra, moze da svrati i na WEBHOSTS workshop: ...WEBHOSTS is a study funded by European Commission through the Information Society Technologies (IST) programme. WEBHOSTS' mission is to carry out a socio-economic study of the emerging market of webhosting. Hosting service providers and industrial users, in particular small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are researched and the future impact of webhosting on e-business will be evaluated. E-business technologies are resource-demanding and require equipment and technical staff in charge of developing it and maintaining the IT-systems. While large corporations have the necessary resources, SMEs do not. As a result, many SMEs are left out of a crucial market segment and their potential revenue and market share remain unrealised. The WEBHOSTS-workshop will explore these issues and provide a picture of the European webhosting supply and demand. We like to invite you to participate in the workshop to learn more about webhosting in Europe today and in the future. First results of the study and preliminary conclusions of the analysis of surveyed SMEs and hosting providers are presented. The workshop is free of charge...
