Moja konfiguracija je sledeca
MSI K7N2 delta PLATINUM , sata Maxtor80, gForce6800 ...
U BIOSU : RAID configutaion : DISABLED
kernel 2.6.11.4-20a
pokusao sam da instaliram linux na novo napravljenoj ext2 particiji pored XP-a na samom pocetku je ispisao poruku :

******************************************************************
WARNING : This system at least one hard
disk with a raid configuration presented by the
bios as raid that is in fact a software raid . The folowing
disks were detected as part of such a RAID

/DEV/SDA

The linux kernel 2.4 suported some of
these systems like promise FastTrack
and high point Rocket Raid, but the
linux kernel 2.6 does not suported them
at all

If you install onto these disks, your
RAID configuration and any data in the
RAID will be lost . REFER to http://portal.suse.com
to learn how to migrate to a linux software raid

pocetnik sam u linuxu . Razumem sta kaze ali kako da to prevazidjem
da mi ne pukne NTFS particija
Do sada sam instalirao na obicnom Maxtoru 40 PATA i proslo je bez problema
