| Ericsson IN/prepaid system specialist (implementation engineer) Division: Switching&Services Location: Bucharest Responsibilities: • Implements and tests the solutions and services designed by the Solution Architect. • Carries day to day work order handling towards O&M; • Offers assistance for Solution Architects in services definition and network architecture design; • Makes the best use of the Prepaid/IN platforms capabilities; • Performs Hardware Node design for new IN/Prepaid nodes and IN/Prepaid network elements expansions; • Coordinates the implementation, expansion and upgrade of prepaid/ IN network elements/solution; • Sets up system acceptance criteria, working with suppliers on troubleshooting in case of problems during implementation and providing reporting to meet management needs; • Monitors network elements usage by implementing element counters and analyzing the statistical data; • Establishes orderable items for new nodes implementation and expansions. Requirements: • University degree in Telecommunications/Computer Science (or related fields); • Experience of at least 3 years in Ericsson IN/prepaid; SS7 knowledge would be an advantage; • Experience in projects implementation; • Strong communication skills and teamwork; • Fluent in English (both spoken and written). GPRS Implementation Engineer Division: Switching&Services Location: Bucharest Responsibilities: • Plans and monitors the new GPRS network elements and the GPRS network elements HW expansion and SW upgrades; • Cooperates with design teams in order to set up system acceptance criteria, working with suppliers on troubleshooting in case of problems during implementation and providing reporting to meet management needs; • Performs site surveys, layout plans, establishes the technical requirements for new GPRS network elements; • Plans and manages installation and integration process survey and assists acceptance testing. • Performs Hardware Node design for new GPRS nodes and GPRS network elements expansions; • Carries day to day work order handling towards O&M; • Implements and configures GPRS counters and statistics and monitors the usage of GPRS network elements; • Evaluates and implements new SW releases (Upgrades) and New Features for GPRS network elements; • Establishes orderable items for new nodes implementation and expansions. Requirements: • University degree in Telecommunications/Computer Science (or related fields); • Experience of at least 3 years in Ericsson GPRS systems; • Good knowledge of voice & SS7 networks, GSM and IP protocols; • Strong communication skills and teamwork; • Fluent in English (both spoken and written); • Availability for traveling.
