1. With no CD/DVD inserted in the player....
2. press on the remote: menu, 2, 4, 6.
3. Press 1 for off.

Note: this may actually be the dealer lock for the player tray - if so, use "2" in step 3 to unlock it.

To convert this player for VCD playback:

1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray.
2. Place an audio CD in the drive tray.
3. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray.
4. Using the remote control, key in the following: Menu, 1, Index (1-All), Open, 1.

If the above doesn't work, try:

1. Insert an audio cd
2. Press: PLAY, STOP, MENU, 1, INDEX, EJECT
3. Now choose 1 for VCD-Support on and 2 for VCD-Support off

ja sam moj rešio i to tako što ćeš da uključiš plejer na power dugme a onda držiš stop dugme na plejeru i na daljinskom ga isljučiš i tako će da ti otključa vrata.pozdrav
