MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-822S (IBM laptop) ne narezuje DVD

Pozdrav svima. Imam MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-822S rezac na IBM-ovom laptopu t42 i problem koji ne mogu sam da resim. Jedini DVD medij (od isprobanih Verbatim DVD-R 1-16x, Sony DVD-R 1-16x, Maxell DVD+R 1-8x, Princo DVD-R 1-8x) koji moze da narezem je LG DVD+RW i to na kraju javi gresku, ali snimi ispravno. Na ostalim javlja gresku odmah na pocetku i staje s narezivanjem.
Na svakom otvaranju drajva(onaj narezani otvara nakon 2-3 pokusaja, kod drugara radi od prve) eksplorer javlja da ili da stavim disk-ne vidi ga ili F:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function. Ok. Nije ok bre.

na manjim brzinama sam pokusavao da narezujem. Cd narezuje i cita, ali izbirljiv, malo ostecen medij ne otvara.

Noviji Firmware za MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-822S od mog 1.00 izgleda da nema, trazio na:

Pokusavao sam da uradim po preporuci tipa s IBM-ovog foruma http://forum.thinkpads.com/vie...d59a7d5a1d98d346a75519591e0871, ali nisam znao- nemam to u start/programs da izbrisem DLA (Drive Letter Access) i ponovo instaliram...
Rezac je nov, ali posle svega ne znam dali da sumnjm na laser(brisao ga s destilovanom vodom)? Dali je do ovih ASPI drajvera, i ako jeste, gde da ih nadjem/kako da instaliram?
