Ako dospete u gore opisanu situaciju postupak je sledeći:
1. Ugasite računar (čak i ako na ekranu piše "Installing.... do not switch the power off")
2. Ponovo upalite računar i pre podizanja sistema pritisnite F8 i odaberite Safe mode
3. Sačekajte da "Installing Service Pack1: Stage 3 of 3" završi... ovo može da potraje baš-baš duugoooo...
Kada se Windows konaačno podigne obavestiće vas da nije uspeo da instalira Service Pack 1 uz oznaku greške i verovatno preporuku da posetite internet...
Ostaje da preko Disk Cleanup Wizarda očistite sve... obratite pažnju da čekirate "Per user qued Error Reporting files.." koji će biti verovatno velik par gigabajta

Sve sam ovo uradio bas kao sto si opisao, ali na kraju vista se nije startovala :(... Dakle morao sam da formatiram disk i evo sad radi ok, nadam se da cu uspeti da instalirami SP 1... Pozzz

Verovatno nisi bio dovoljno strpljiv da sačekaš sve do kraja...
Sinoć sam imao takav problem na jednom novom "Fujitsu Siemens Amilo La 1703" laptopu i opisani postupak je uspeo... (osim što neće da se instalira SP1  )

Ma cekao sam sve do trenutka kad mi je izaso ekran sa porukom da se SP 1 Nije instalirao i da ce zapoceti neki proces restauracije ili slicno.. Inace u pitanju je Fujitsu Siemens laptop... Instalacije je krenula negde pre 23h, a zavrsila se oko pola 5 ujutru i na kraju sam puko i formatirao disk, mada evo vec danas vidim da mi je sam ponudio update za SP 1 :)... i tako, nadam se da ce sad sve biti ok! E tu si trebao da sačekaš još malo i imao bi sistem kakav je bio pre neuspele instalacije SP1.
Pošto ti sad nudi preko Windows Update SP1, valda ćeš ovaj put uspeti...

Ja ne mogu da verujem da mi se opet desava ista stvar... znaci nece da se instalira SP 1 i to ti je... evo sad ga je windows sam updateovao i opet nece da mi startuje windows... Pomagajte... opet je krenuo onaj proces u safe modu... i ne znam sta da radim sad... necu valjda morati opet da formatiram disk?

Da li instaliraš čistu verziju Viste ili si nešto menjao? Da li je engleska varijanta ili ubacuješ neke druge jezike?

Pa dobio sam uz lap top Vistu home basic. Na njoj pise: Operating system - Recovery DVD. I na engleskom je instalirana, nisam ubaciovao nikakav drugi jesik.

Moguće je da ti KB937287 pravi problem ako ga imaš instaliranog. U pitanje je mali update koji je isprva trebao da bude preduslov za instalaciju SP1, ali je mnogima pravio problem baš pri instalaciji SP1 da bi na kraju bio povučen.

Epa moguce, i to uopste nije fer sa njihove strane ako je stvarno tako... Mislim cele nedelje se zezam sa instalaciojom viste i gubim vreme... i evo sad ponovo sam nesto uprskao, pokrenuo sam neki program za odklanjnaje gresaka, misleci da ce da obrise pokrenutu instalaciju SP1 a on mi formatiorao disk, nego srecom nisma imao nista bitno. Ae videcu da ponovo pokusam ali bez tog fajla... nadam se da mi windows update nece vise ponuditi da isnatliram taj mali programcic koji je bio preduslov za instalaciju. Javljam sta je bilo, ali nadam se da cu uspeti iz treceg puta.

I ja takodje imam problema sa instalacijom SP1, zapravo ne uspeva uspesno da se instalira i osim sto mi je uklonio drajver od zvucne kartice nista strasno se nije dogodilo tim neuspehom. Procitao sam sve postove i proverio sve update-ove i zaista imam taj "KB937287". Vidim da postoji opcija da se pojedini update-ovi deinstaliraju, sto nazalost nije slucaj i sa ovim. Sta je preporuka za dalji rad, cekati da Microsoft otkloni grasku, da li tako nesto realno za ocekivati? Sta mogu sam da uradim?

Pa jel povucen definitivno ili moze ponovo da se pojavi u upadeu? Evo upravo instaliram vistu pa da znam da iskljucim update dok se to ne sredi... puko sam skroz sa zivcima.

Koliko znam povučen je i ne bi trebalo da se pojavi. Ne tvrdim da je to defitivno bio problem, ali nije isključeno. Sad je možda već kasno, ali pre instalacije SP1 obavezno bekapovati sve bitno i napraviti ghost/image particije da se makar može sve vratiti brzo na staro u slučaju potrebe.

Ja imam pomenuti update a SP1 se instalirao bez problema. Trajalo je oko sat vremena dok se skinulo šta je trebalo i dok je to instalirano i sve je OK.

E evo upravo sam pokrenuo update (po treci put) i taj pomenuti fajl se ne pojavljuje u spisku. Ae videcu sta ce biti kad se skine i instalira, pa javljam. Uhhh iskreno se nadma da ce sad sve biti ok!

Juce u red wow-a zabode mi komp?!
Resetujem i crni ekran isto i u safe modu.
Pokusao sa repair, nista.
Krenem da pregazim Vistu nece, na kraju je pao format.
Posle instalacije updejt jedno par puta dok nije dosao na red sp1 on je prosao i sada radi.
Jedino nisam instalirao neko cudo za zvucni i dodatne jezike.
Ako moze da se zaobidje toplo preporucujem, usporila se nesto posle sp1, to je i za ocekivati ko za xp.

Pokusao sam da updejtujem i drivere ali mi izlazi da su sve najnovije verzije vec instalirane.
Ipak cu da ostavim SP1 za kasnije jer stvarno ne mogu vise da se bakcem sa instalacijom i podesavanjima. [ Catch 22 @ 22.03.2008. 05:13 ] @
@Acika: Ako to pokušavaš da instaliraš na "Fujitsu Siemens Amilo La 1703" onda nemoj ni da se trudiš, jer ne vredi... instaliraj sve updates, a kada ti ponudi taj sp1 njega isključi do daljnjeg...
Ako je navedeni laptop u pitanju da li imaš u device manageru stavku "WAN MINIPORT (SSTP)" za koji ne može da pronađe drajver?
Njakam se sa jednim takvim novim laptopom i ništa ne pomaže, čak sam mu i flešovao BIOS, ali avaj...

Imam Amilo La 1703. I svi driveri su uredno instalirani... I necu da instaliram do daljnjeg sp 1... Inace stavku "WAN MINIPORT (SSTP) nemam ili je ja ne vidim!

Vratio sam se na xp nemam zivaca da instaliram svake nedelje sve iz pocetka.

Da moguce.OEM sa neta. Sve je evo proslo u redu ali mozda i nije ako bi od nekog dobio potvrdan odgovor. Naime i meni se nakon instalacije pojavio crn ekran sa strelicom i to je trajalo duze nego obicno. Cini mi se duze nego ranije instalacije bez SP1. Ne mogu tacno reci ali par minuta je to trajalo te sam pomislio da je problem. Krenuo sam u minijaturu pa sam nakon pritiska na f7 dobio ekran.Da li je to doslo bas redovnim postupkom instalacije ili ne ne znam.Dobro bi bilo da neko sa problemom pokusa da uradi ovo pa da potvrdu. OEM jeste sa integrisanim SP1 ali cu, mozda ne veceras, probati i sa originalom Viste koji posedujem bez SP1 pa nakon toga ici u njegovo dodavanje. Bas me zanima da li ce ici mada sam nekako ubedjen da nece biti problema. CPU je M 1.73 giga.

Znaci napravio sam i ovu bootabilnu instalaciju sa SP 1 i opet mi je blikirala instalacija. Ja stvarno odustajem od dalje instalacije SP 1... Jedino sto cu jos uradim je da pozovem Microsoft centar za neku pomoc...

07.04.2008. Microsoft je izdao dodatno objašnjenje (rešenje) problema sa instalacijom SP1 na neke računare sa Vistom i najavljuje "fix" za sutra...
Citat: As posted last month on the Windows Vista blog, we suspended automatic distribution of the SSU while we investigated the problem. Over the past few weeks, we’ve learned a lot more about the problem and have taken steps to address the issue. Today, we’d like to let you know that we are resuming automatic distribution of the SSU tomorrow and provide more clarity on what happened.
To clear up any concerns for those of you who have already installed the update: There is no problem with the files that make up the Servicing Stack Update ( KB937287); the problem some customers encountered was with the installation process for the update. That means if you already have the update installed, you do not need to uninstall it or install the rereleased version of the update.
So what caused the problem? Well, the SSU has special code to check whether there are any pending reboots or other updates to install. If it sees either of these circumstances, it prevents the install from starting. During our investigation, we discovered that there were a few unknown and rare events during the middle of the installation of the update that could cause the update to think it needed a reboot to complete the installation. If this happened, the system entered a repeating reboot loop.
To address this problem for people who have not already installed the SSU, we are releasing a fix tomorrow which will install prior to the SP1 Servicing Stack Update. This pre-SSU update helps to ensure a smooth install of the SSU by working to prevent the system from rebooting during the SP1 SSU installation. We also made additional changes to the SSU installer code, so that it checks for and requires the pre-SSU (KB949939) before it will install.
These two updates should now install seamlessly through Windows Update, in the proper order, so those of you with WU set to “install updates automatically” who haven’t already installed the SSU don’t have to take any further action. For those using the standalone download of SP1, the issues we encountered do not affect that method of installing at all.
