Ping print servera ne razumem?

Imam dva lapa u mrezi preko asus rutera,na jednom je win xpp a drugi je pod Vistom,to sve radi ok,u ruter je ukljucen pocket print server i sa XP-a sve fercera a sa Viste ni da mrdne.....a evo sta ne kapiram u uputstvu za print server kazu default ip 192.168.2.2

vidi ti si na adresi 192.168.1.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 sta znaci da ti je lokalna mreza sve od 192.168.1.1.do 192.168.1.255.
Koliko vidim pokusavas da pingas nesto sto nije na tvojoj logalnoj mreze 192.168.2.2 i taj zahtjev se proslijedjuje gatewayu u tvom slucaju routeru koji dalje proslijedjuje zahtjev do tvog ISP-a (ovo je ukratko ima tu jos dosta toga), tako da odgovor dobivas vjerovatno od ISP-a.

Sto znaci ako je tvoja adresa 192.168.1.2 ti nemozes direktno pristupiti adresi 192.168.2.2
pogledaj koja ti je adresa na masini sa XP-om

IP na drugoj sa XPom je 192.168.1.3

Mrezu sam iskljucio i direktno utp kablom ustekao print server na lap i ping daje sledece

***em mu kako sa XP sve sljaka tj stampa? ping daje iste rezultate sa obe masine??!

Hmmm... cini mi se da ti je Ethernet adapter disejblovan (a preko njega i pokusavas da se povezes. Adresa 192.168.1.2 je Wireless). Probaj da ga inejblujes i ako nemas dhcp, postavi mu staticku adresu u 192.168.2.0 rangu.

upravo tako subnet odredjuje sta je lokalna adresa a sta ne, u tvom slucaju 255.255.255.0 oznacava da je 192.168.1.XXX tvoja lokalna mreza.
Postavi sve adrese u range lokalne mreze i nece biti problema.

Da je to moguce ja ne bi sa Vistom imao problem:) Svrha celog treda je bila da nekako preko tcp/ip nateram Vistu da stampa al jok..na netu sam nasao bar jedno 100 strana sa istim problemom ali ne i resenje

Posto ping sa Viste izgleda potpuno isto kao i sa XP a ,(nisam expert za mreze) preko cega masina sa XP om bez problema radi stampu kroz mrezu???????

Mislim da je to cmts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMTS). Ignoriši to, za ovo što tebi treba poslušaj savete ostalih ljudi kako da kreiraš adrese u istom subnetu.
