HTC have announced the world's first ever handset to support both GSM and WiMAX connectivity - the MAX 4G. Aside from that, it's your usual feature-packed HTC phone, running on Windows Mobile 6.1, with HTC's proprietary TouchFLO 3D User Interface onboard. It'll be exclusively on Russia's Yota WiMAX network, later this month.
It is somewhat like the company's HD handset, with no 3G support, but, it comes with 8GB internal memory, and a proximity sensor, disabling use of the handset's screen, when you make or recieve a call.

The Max 4G will retail for around €840.
