Candidate Profile: - Must be Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or 3 + years of experience on similar J2E development positions - 1+ year of experience in all phases of software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment, and production support - Skills in J2E Application Server, J2E Application Development, Java Message Service, Ajax, Struts, Tiles, DB2/Oracle, and CVS - Experience with and/or exposure to Scrum/Agile development methodology - Fluency in English Responsibilities: - Responsible for work with business users to identify, analyze and implement business requirements within the WebSphere Commerce (version 6 and/or version 7) architecture - Design and develop multi-tier Client-Server based Internet application for e-Commerce on UNIX and Windows using Object-oriented design ⁄ analysis, Java, J2EE design patterns, JSP, Servlet, EJB, and Java Message Service - Deploy and integrate applications using WebSphere Application Server, and WebSphere Application Developer(WSAD)/Rational Application Developer (RAD) - Design and develop database components - Create functional and non-functional specifications through use cases, interaction diagrams/visual modeling and technical modeling (specifically UML) - Organize source code using source version control system - Create proof-of-concept implementations of WebSphere Commerce based applications using new and upgraded WebSphere technologies (e.g., Portal, MQ Series, Web Services / SOA, etc.) - Install/Upgrade, configure, and tune WebSphere products (WebSphere Commerce, WebSphere Application Server) at customer sites and in labs - Mentor client IT teams in WebSphere Commerce Development and RAD best practices - Escalate issues in a timely fashion to management - Contribute positively in team meetings and overall project design Please send your CV to following e-mail address: [email protected], with subject title: Websphere Commerce Developer.
