Job Title: Lead QA Engineer / Test Manager Reports to: Development Manager Start date: Immediately Location: Belgrade, Serbia Working as part of the Engineering Team this hands-on and high impact role will help ensure TeleSign Mobile Software as a Service products are scalable and of high quality. Key responsibilities: • Lead the introduction and growth of QA as a discipline within the Engineering Team • Determine methods and procedures, and develop and executing test plans that cover functional, performance, stress, stability and operational requirements for both existing and new software platforms • Performing hands-on testing, as well as leading the work of others • Automation of test procedures, making appropriate use of tools and test frameworks • Identify requirements for, and evaluate tools to support the QA process in particular with regards to automation • Support operational teams in the planning for and deployment of software releases • Work within multi-disciplinary product teams (designers, project managers, product managers and developers) to represent the needs of QA and champion the importance of quality • Work as part of our development teams within the SCRUM process • Accountable for leading the QA testing of highly complex systems • Bug reporting and tracking, bug analysis and reproduction • Mentor QA engineers including design recommendations and code reviews • Involvement in product documentation review Candidate’s profile: • 5+ years of experience in software test automation, tools and methodologies • Experience leading and mentoring a team of Test/QA engineers • Experience managing software releases • Experience testing web services/APIs (e.g. SOAP, XML, JSON, REST) • Able to create automated tests using common scripting languages such as Python, Perl or bash • Experience testing software in a virtualized Linux environment and common open source software packages • Good problem solving skills • Passion and initiative for continual learning about new technologies and approaches • Team player with good time management skills • Strong understanding of AGILE and SCRUM methodologies • Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills with ability to gather requirements and arrive at technical decisions • Degree in Computer Science or other equivalent To apply for this position send your application in English to email: [email protected].
