is seeking a

Web Application Developer

The Judicial Reform and Government Accountability Project (JRGA) in Serbia is a five-year USAID initiative. The objectives of the JRGA project are to strengthen the rule of law, the independence of the judiciary and the administration of justice in Serbia; to increase public awareness of reforms in the judicial sector; and to strengthen the ability of the Serbian government, Independent Agencies, and civil society to detect and prevent corruption.

The project has the following vacancy for Serbian National to serve as Web Application Developer. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the full software development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going functional technical support.

Duties will include:
• Developing software as required by project requirements.
• Developing technical design specifications for application customizations.
• Evaluate, analyse and fulfil user requirements, business processes and user procedures.
• Investigate and resolve user problems and application issues as they arise.
• Implement new system functionalities and troubleshoot application modules.
• Provide documentation and maintainable code for future users and developers.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing for application functionality.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other related technical fields.
• 4 or more years in:
o Design, development and support of Web based applications.
o Relational Database Concepts.
o Java, HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS.
o XML, XSLT.
o Microsoft SQL.
• Familiar with SVN.
