For our client who is leading provider software-as-a-service solutions for the management of global businesses operating in Ireland, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:



JAVA/SCALA SOFTWARE ENGINEER



Tasks:

- Design, build and own services deployed on the client’s cloud, services enable key functions of the client’s applications and operate at low latencies in a high volume environment
- Research, prototyping, innovation and technical excellence are essential parts of our team culture.
- True technologists, at all levels of experience, with an enthusiasm for applying innovative technological solutions to complex business problems


Requirements:

- BS in Computer Science or related fields
- 3+ years experience in Object Oriented Design and Java programming
- Proven track record of Test-Driven Development and automated system testing
- Strong foundation in data structures, distributed cross-platform applications and an interest in functional programming
- Commercial experience with distributed, high-performance systems
- Interest or experience in one or more of the following is advantageous: Scala, NoSQL, Akka, Kafka, Zookeeper, Erlang, and Eclipse BIRT
- Fluency in English
