For our client from Berlin, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:



SOLUTION ARCHITECT



Tasks:

Design the company’s state-of-the-art solution architecture, ensure its implementation and improvement while avoiding any gaps or inconsistencies
Your eye for the details as well the big picture allows you to focus on the conversion of functional and non-functional business requirements
You factor in different architectural domains (application, data, business and technology)
Ensure constant improvement of the implemented services. Moreover, you define the long-term vision and architecture-related best practices
While keeping the company’s principles and reference architecture in focus you frame the long-term vision by developing goals, plans and roadmaps
In collaboration with the devs you adopt product-wide best practices for the architecture and constantly improve scalability, availability, extensibility and performance
Assistance brings order into the project development schedules and being a gifted planner, you ensure that all regulations and compliances are met
When it comes to risk-related questions, you serve as a reference person for your team
Constantly account for new options, take part in expert discussions and facilitate decisions
Relationships with customers, technical teams, and architecture offices are strong – your visits with “outsiders” amount to 20% travel activities of your working time


Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related field of study or vocational education
Your professional experience itself is in its teenage years by now – you have already worked as a Solution Architect in complex and heterogeneuos environments for no less than five years
Several years of demonstrated experience in systems integration, application development, and/or integration architecture
Worked with or even lead design authorities and architecture offices before
Show a deep understanding of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
Excel through broad application architecture domain experience, ideally including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) scenarios
Comfy with modelling tools like ARIS, Rational or the like
Right up your professional alley: enterprise architecture concepts, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF 9, Zachman, Gartner)
Explaining complex facts to colleagues and stakeholders
Proficiency in English
