For our client, leading automotive service provider located in Munich, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:



SENIOR PLATFORM ENGINEER GO



Tasks:

You will take an essential part in the creation of the high performance platform which will be developed from scratch
Distributed systems, microservices and cloud-based are the way to go
You and your autonomously working team use all your expertise and creativity to develop best solutions that “just work”
The project has just started, so it´s the perfect time to join and have huge impact


Positions requirements:

University degree in Computer Science or related field
5 years of experience in a technologically sophisticated environment (e.g. with high availability and/or high performance platforms – ideally in a startup-like dynamic setting)
Have basic knowledge of Java and are well versed in Go with a really deep understanding of its potential and limits
Already worked with distributed systems (ideally with configuration tools like Zookeeper)
Messaging frameworks (e.g. RabbitMQ, NSQ) are no big deal for you
Skills in Python or Ruby are very welcome
Extensive experience with the concept of microservices
Familiar with the intricacies of cloud-backed systems
Moreover you´re totally into writing code that “just works” (and you know what that means)
Coding to design patterns, data structures and algorithms is no unknown territory to you
When it comes to new problems you like to develop exciting solutions and to share ideas
Generally you´re keen on collaborating and being a part of a high performance team
Fluency in English and ready to learn German
