For our client working in Mobility, Information Security, Analytics and Shared Services, located in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:



JAVA AGILE SOFTWARE ENGINEER


Tasks:

Are you keen on shaping the future of mobility (in its entirety, from the agreement with the product management to the live switch of the finished release)?
Then you will work with us, on the position of Java Agile Software Engineer in the development of the innovative CarIT & Mobility solutions, such as car2go or moovel.
Together with the product owner, you will reach an understanding and use (for that purpose) user stories as a tool.
You will assume the role of an analyst and will prepare the business context for the application in software.
You are capable of comprehensibly transforming acceptance criteria into the tests and you decide if and when the test automatisation may be used in a sensible way.
You will develop test-driven and know suitable concepts of the quality safeguard and of the knowledge sharing.
You will plan your work within your team in such a realistic way that the work can be done quickly and that software with guaranteed quality can be delivered.
Just like all team members, you will think and act as a system architect and thus contribute to the proper architecture and design of the system.
In your work with your team and the product owner, you will be cooperative and respectful and you will contribute to establishing an environment where learning from another is possible.
You are responsible for the results of your work, you are motivated and keen on improving yourself.


Positions requirements:

University degree in Computer Science or related field
5 to 10 years of professional experience in Java EE
Experience with Agile software development preferably SCRUM
Experience with Test Driven Development and Test Automation
Experience with Continuous Integration Build management
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM DB2 Universal Database
Subversion, GIT
Knowledge of iOS / Android development
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AngularJS
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
Real multi-tasker with a penchant for creativity and communication
In terms of code management, test automation and quality-based app development you are quite the mastermind
Fluency in German and English
