| Azure Data Platform Engineer If you find it interesting to: • work on building the full stack of our Azure Data Analytics Platform and use cases, ranging from data ingestion to data analytics • work with different units and operating companies on implementing their data driven projects and products • make sure that each project is implemented with a high level of security and that these projects adhere to governance standards • have a strong focus on designing and executing cloud architecture If you have: • Hands-on technologist, with profound expertise in modern cloud architecture and record of successful implementation of cloud data platforms • You are familiar with public Cloud data platform (preferably MS Azure) especially PaaS • Previous work experience 2+ years working in the area of open source data platforms, data architecture, data warehouse and relational database technologies • Public cloud architecture and experience with migrating, architecting, administrating cloud-based solutions, practical knowledge of software methodologies and putting data workloads to the public cloud • Must have Tech stack: Bash, Git, Infrastructure Engineering (ARM), DevOps, Python, Kubernetes • Nice to have Tech stack: Azure (certifications are welcomed), React.js, R, Spark, Flask • In-depth expertise in public cloud networking and connectivity • Experience in configuration and source code management automation (CI/CD), and Infrastructure as Code solutions. • You are familiar with private links, vnets etc. for establishing virtual private cloud settings • ELT knowledge Extract-Load-Transform What you will be working on: • Building and operating MS Azure big data platform and use cases in highly complex environment of a big corporation with complex systems, bringing significant change in digital transformation • Working on and building solutions for 7 telco providers in CEE Europe • Introducing lean and scalable cloud PaaS architecture of both platform and use cases with One2Many approach • Architectural leading of the data platform roadmap. Mapping and consolidating the organizational units' data-relevant requirements to the Azure architecture. • Design and implement the core cloud data services by design, configuration, and implementation of Azure Kubernetes Services, Synapse, Azure Machine learning, Elastic stack, PowerBI service. • Design and implementation of data ingestion/message processing architecture (Event hub, ETL pipelines) • Architectural and technical guide for the projects running on the data platform. • Creating DevOps / MLOps policies, documentation, architectural elements • Support the projects to introduce the DevOps mindset and tools in the project on the cloud data platform • Design the platform with infrastructure as code (bash scripting, ARM, bicep) strategy, to increase the maintainability and extendibility of the platform. • Design the Azure cloud components based on the Group's security standards: limiting the access to the private network, introduction of azure network features (private endpoints, routing tables, security groups, VPN gateway) to increase the security. • Do research and proof of concepts about the new Azure features: organizing internal workshops, onboarding sessions.
