Pa ako ne znas sta su onda ti sigurno ne trebaju. :) Iskljuci sve i divi se brzini boot-a. :)

Inace za sta ces da koristis masinu ?

Kazi pa da ti kaze neko sta da ostavis.

Pa pazi, ako nekoristis nijedan od tih servisa, a ocigledno ih nekoristis, onda ih treba iskljuciti, jer kao sto je rekao caiser zadivices se brzini boot-a linuxa kad iskljucis sve te servise :) Mada, ne znam odakle ti ideja da su oni "Opasni Servisi...". Jedino ako imas neke starije verzije za koje su nadjene rupe....

I ja sam cuo da se neki skriveni virusi nalaze u tim servisima... nemorate mi verovati...

idi begaj prijatelju kladim se da si ih ti napravio cuo sam za onaj tvoj ssh virus koji
u letu dekripta ....ma super za tebe stvarno ....eh kad se setim onog tvog
virusa u servisu smtp koji omogucva useru da sam sebi posalje mail cuo sam da si to radio u nekom tvom jeziku ???wTf

recite mi da li su neki od njih potrebni obicnom korisniku,ako nisu,onda su nepotrebna potencijalna opasnost jer mozda imaju rupice.Bez MAN komentara...

Nisi napisao koju distribuciju koristis. Dosta servisa koje si pomenuo kod mene nema. Evo ti lista servisa koji i kod mene postoje. Atd i gpm sam ostavio ukljucene, mada atd, mi do sada nikad nije trebao i razisljam da ga isklucim. Ostale nabrojane sam iskljucio.

Sledece servise mozes da ostavis, a mozes i da ih iskljucis ako ti ne trebaju.

atd - Runs commands scheduled by the at command at the time specified when at was run, and runs batch commands when the load average is low enough.

gpm - GPM adds mouse support to text-based Linux applications such as the Midnight Commander. It also allows mouse-based console cut-and-paste operations, and includes support for pop-up menus on the console.


Ove servise mozes slobodno da isklucis ako nemas neki server na svom kompu:

httpd - Apache is a World Wide Web server. It is used to serve HTML files and CGI.

named - named (BIND) is a Domain Name Server (DNS) that is used to resolve host names to IP addresses.

nfs - NFS is a popular protocol for file sharing across TCP/IP networks. This service provides NFS server functionality, which is configured via the /etc/exports file.

portmap - The portmapper manages RPC connections, which are used by protocols such as NFS and NIS. The portmap server must be running on machines which act as servers for protocols which make use of the RPC mechanism.


Ovaj ti servis najverovatnije ne treba:

ypbind - This is a daemon which runs on NIS/YP clients and binds them to a NIS domain. It must be running for systems based on glibc to work as NIS clients, but it should not be enabled on systems which are not using NIS.
